Pond Care Ammo Rocks act like a sponge to remove deadly ammonia. It can take 4 to 6 weeks for a biological filter to fully develop in new pond setups, and in established ponds at the start of the season. During this period of biological development most fish die due to excess ammonia exposure.

Made of 100% zeolite, Ammo Rocks draws and soak ups toxic ammonia. Promotes nitrifying bacteria to control ammonia and nitrite levels in the fishpond, and will help boost filter effectiveness. Perfect media for biological filtration.
