Description   Pondcare Aquatic Planting Media contains a unique blend of natural minerals, including zeolite.  Regular garden soil is usually not suitable for aquatic plants.  Soil too rich in organic matter will leach algae promoting nutrients into the pond water.  Yet, loose light soil will float around the pond and cause cloudy pond water.   Aquatic Planting Media adds no algae promoting phosphate to pond water.  Does not float, cloud water or clog filters.  The media will not affect pH level.
