Description
 
Cal Pump ultraviolet pond light controls algae in fish ponds and water gardens. As water passes through the unit the UV light bleaches then fuses together chlorophyll from the plant, destroys green algae in ponds. When a UV light clarifier is used in conjunction with biological filtration, dead algae passes into the filtration system where it will decompose and combine with beneficial bacteria that render nutrients harmless to the pond.

The 18 watt UV pond light is rated for algae control in ponds up to 2000 gallons, with a maximum flow rate of 1000gph. Easily installs inline as a stand alone fixture.
