Microbe-Lift Cold Weather Food. Wheat germ for koi and goldfish during the autumn through spring feeding seasons. In the fall and winter seasons, when nighttime temperatures drop below 55°F (13°C), the pond water temperature drops too. This time of year pond fish, especially koi, require an easy to digest diet. Cold Weather Food wheat germ contains lesser amounts of protein than summer fish foods, which results in a cleaner healthier pond. Contains 32% crude protein. Wheat germ fish meal, distillers grains with solubles, wheat middlings, corn gluten meal and fish oil.
For cool weather feeding when pond water temperature is below 55°F. Feed koi and other pond fish only what they will eat in 5 minutes. General rule of thumb is to feed fish small quantities frequently. After 5 minutes, clear any uneaten food from the pond.
