A pump (such as Power Jet or Max-Flo) pushes the water into the pressurized pond filter. Water passes through the mechanical filtration stage, consisting of foam filters that intercept and trap dirt and debris, then passes along an integrated UVC lamp, where it is exposed to ultraviolet rays that inhibit the growth of single celled algae organisms. Filtered water returns back into the pond.
