Savio Springflo bio filter media is a polypropylene, calcium carbonate ribbon. The diamond pattern embossed on the ribbon creates millions of dimples to rapidly secure and develop bacteria. Springflo is easy to use and maintain, inexpensive, resists channeling, clogging and compaction in up-flow and horizontal-flow environments.

One box of Springflo media covers 180 square feet of surface area. Expands to fill 3 cubic feet. Springflo is very durable, lasting for 3 to 5 years. Good for all open filter chambers.
